Curious to know if anyone else has abnormally high insulin levels? Recently, I had a doctor order a full blood panel. My insulin and estradiol levels came back abnormally high. It doesn't make sense why insulin levels are high considering I eat very healthy, little processed food, and low sugar intake. Glucose levels are in the normal range so it's not glucose causing high insulin. Maybe the serotonin transporter is responsible?

Here's the study of sert deficient mice

Had you get your fasting glucose levels checked?

No, but I'll have to do that. The study mentions various metabolic issues associated with serotonin transporter
