Hi buddy,

i'd love to learn more about your success.

suspect aspergillus long time to be root of my problems ... since i have this itching on skin and disturbed digestion.... also i was living in apartment with mold when all this shit started
i want to get antibody test soon.

Please help me with some short question.
Would you describe yourself as fully healed already? Are you still on itraconazole?

You also had emotional numbness?
Where there any of those legendary brainzaps when you got better?

Did you had windows of better function over the years?

Thank you very much in anticipation!!

So sad this guy never came back.

I was doing fluconazole 200mg for 4 weeks
Got some good improvements in all areas, like about 30% while on it
Maybe less than half of this sticked after stopping intake

All in all not a big deal nor the thing i hope

For what it's worth, I continually get ringworm rashes on my arms, legs and chest.

I'm not sure why. I shower twice a day, and dry off properly. I eat healthy, and exercise regularly. I am perfectly average weight.

Dear forum,

I am writing an update of my condition. First of all, I took antifungals (systemic like itraconazole among others) because I was diagnosed with antibodies for Aspergillus and Candida in my blood. I also had caughing problems and also chronic prostatitis to which not much attention was paid to, but only lately I understood that it was that what caused portion of my pssd like symptoms. After longterm antifungal treatment some of my pssd symptoms got better and it initially looked prosimising that I will get fully cured but it got better only to a certain point - then it stopped. Yes I am better but I still have some baseline pssd left untouched. Sorry I did not write sooner, but I was still trying and battling rest of pssd, was frustrated and was waiting for results, changed and upped doses, tried other medications, etc, but unfortunatelly it did not help any further. My final conclusions in relation to antifungals, from my experience are -

1. only take this medicine if You have been properly diagnosed with Candida and/or Aspergillus antibodies and ONLY under doctor supervision, these are some serious medications!
2.in my opinion it only helps people that have genuine Candida and Aspergillus problems and have been diagnosed, I do not think it helps beyond the molds, yeast, funghi problem - like helping with pssd generally - only if pssd in Your case is somehow possibly realtated to these pathogens, certainly does not apply to majority of pssd sufferers here
3.do not play around with antifungals and certainly not with doses set by Your doctor and forget combinations with other meds, drugs or alcohol and there are also even some foods and beverages restrictions. It can mess up Your health really bad in many ways, I know from other forums people that ended with serious side effects even after treatment and even when then did follow the strict rules and doses. Systemic antifungal are strong and not exactly very safe meds so do not take this advice lightly for Your own good and well being, You do not want to end in ER or to have additional serious health problems to deal with even after ended treatment

This beeing said, do not touch antifungals for no reason. I am unfortunatelly not fully cured, only partially and probably I am even an exception that I got better - because I was diagnosed with Aspegillus and Candida antibodies and couple things in my body were affected by this disease which caused portion of my pssd symptoms. Yes that portion got cured, but now I understand what is really my baseline pssd and unfortunatelly it stayed untouched because it is not affected by yeast, molds or funghi any further, the rest is simply something messed up in nervous system in some way - the thing that we are all seeking the cure for (unfortunatelly, antifungals are not the answer for it). I am also sending request to edit Success stories section, because after long time of trying I can say that my case unfortunately turned out to be only a partial success story. Final advice - Stay on the safe side and only try safe meds in battling pssd.

My regards
afx
