I started taking ropinirole today. 500mcg twice a day. So we'll see how it goes. No discernible side effects so far.

Hi Sonny,

I will be very interested to know how you get on because Ropinirole seems (Im not 100% sure here) to also (like Pramipexole) have positive effects regarding Fibromyalgia.

Is Ropinirole cheaper than Pramipexole do you know Sonny?

Best of luck with this. Please keep us posted on your progress Smile

Thanks.

Adam.

I don't know if it is cheaper. I got pramipexole in liquid form from a "research chemical" site. I got the ropinirole from a pharmacy in India.

No I have not been able to get any. It's far too expensive. I would really like to try it though. I doubt it would do much for my PSSD, but I bet it would do wonders for my OCD.

So far this seems to work well for libido, sensation, and erection. Speeding up orgasm is about all it doesn't really do; at least not at the dose I am taking. So this only makes a little bit of a difference for me. However I think this would be a really good one for the symptoms a lot of people report here.

You could try holding a kegal, i.e. squeeze your PC muscle and hold during intercourse/masturbation to see if you approach orgasm quicker (Men automatically squeeze their PC muscle when they wish to stop the flow of urine). Men with premature ejaculation involuntarily squeeze their PC muscle which brings about ejaculation/orgasm much quicker (such men need to do 'reverse kegals').

Yea, I discovered that years ago. It works very well. One way I test things, is see how long it take me to cum without doing that. I probably should have added that in somewhere. I kind of overlooked it for some reason.

So Sonny.

How does this compare with Cabergoline (Dostinex)?

I've been told Ropinerole may be a better drug for me than Pramipexole for Fibromyalgia/Chronic Pain which I have.

I also did not know you had OCD like me. Apparently, Pramipexole is bad for that.

I take it neither the Cabergoline nor Ropinerole/Requip have a bad effect with that (OCD or mental health in general)?

Thanks.

Adam.

Both of them of them are fine. They don't make my OCD worse or anything.

Gabapentin may work for pain. It doesn't work for everyone though. Lyrca would probably work if that doesn't. It is more expensive and may cause some neurological symptoms, like you may be unable to drive until you get used to it. I know people with pain issues who have been treated with these by a specialist.
