GHB

Unread postby kizaru90 » Tue Mar 31, 2015 12:28 pm

First of all I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, apologies in advance.

A friend of mine has a heavily reduced libido after using an anti depressant for a while, named Paxil

He suffers from Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction – PSSD, and has barely any feeling.

He used it for about a year, not a very high dosage. While on medication he had issues but this seems to be normal. A few days after quitting he suffered from extreme premature ejaculation, after that any feeling just went away.

He stopped over a year ago with the medication but problems persist.

Now the weird thing is, and we really can't find any info anywhere since it's pretty rare, when using GHB the problems go away, he has full feeling and gets horny like a normal person. This makes me think it's a psychological problem, or GHB is a magic solution for this specific problem. We both don't have much knowledge however, and doctors don't really help much as they don't know a lot about GHB or drugs in general.

Some help/info would be greatly appreciated

Re: ghb for pssd symtoms

Like I said just the other day, we find it frustrating and waste far more time looking through the threads to try to figure out what you are saying with abbreviations than it would be for you to just type it out. GHB is never discussed in my part of the world but I looked it up and found that GHB is a date-rape drug. Perhaps more people would respond to your post if they knew what you are talking about with ghb.

γ-Hydroxybutyric acid (GHB), also known as 4-hydroxybutanoic acid, is a naturally occurring substance found in the human central nervous system, as well as in wine, beef, small citrus fruits, and in small amounts in almost all animals.[2] It is also categorized as an illegal drug in many countries.[3] It is currently regulated in Australia and New Zealand, Canada, most of Europe and in the US. GHB as the sodium salt, known as sodium oxybate (INN) or by the trade name Xyrem,[4] is used to treat cataplexy[5] and excessive daytime sleepiness in patients with narcolepsy.

GHB has been used in a medical setting as a general anesthetic, to treat conditions such as insomnia, clinical depression, narcolepsy, and alcoholism, and to improve athletic performance. Now pssd symtoms dissapear with ghb. Is this not worth looking into?

Hey i understand U'r concern, its indeed true ghb is addictive and tolerance builds up, but small doses greatly improve pssd symtoms.
Its also non toxic, and not neurotoxic. Its prescribed for naroleptic patients , and they take it without problems every night 2 doses.
So if this may help people that suffer from PSSD which is devistating not worth looking into at least?

since you edited your post, i'll highlight the revised, newly-added portion and address it by saying that you live in canada, while ghb may not be discussed amongst your circle of friends and acquaintances, which is a good thing, really, it surely it discussed, used legally and illegally, as well as abused there.

srsly what are u talking about? stop commenting on my post if u have nothing usefull to say. And i am not from Canada.

no problem.

But still i do not understand why ghb removes his pssd symtoms, it works on GABA and has nothing to do with serontonine receptors, any clue?

anyway, ghb isn't a sustainable solution. don't start taking it regularly.

But if ghb can reverse it, why is pssd permanent? Seems kinda stupid, if i could have decent sexual function while on G, even if it is only a couple of times in a month i would definitely take it.
