Hi, do you think it works to use Pramipexole while using SSRIs to have sex desire while using SSRIs (Zoloft)? Or does it only work by its own?

I am 27 years old. I've always had really high sex drive. But last year I fell in love with a girl, and went in for her. During the same period, I started eating and experimenting with Magic Mushrooms and ate this continuously almost every day for three months. At the end of these three months before the fungus ran out, I was told that she was married, which ruined the relationship with her. And then I was very hurt and depressed. In connection with this, the mushroom ran out and I stopped eating the mushroom. Since then, I have had no libido at all. And it's been a year. Admittedly, I have been depressed ever since. But the thing is that I have been very depressed earlier in life as well, but nevertheless always had high sex drive. So the only difference I can see now is that this time I've eaten mushrooms, which I haven't done before.

I've read that Pramipexole seems to be the only thing that works to get the sex drive back. And thought of testing this. However, I have long had problems with social phobia, which I solved once before by using SSRI (Zoloft). Zoloft made me feel very calm and normal in my head, and no social phobia at all. However, I only took this for a month when I noticed that it was even harder to get erection. But now consider starting to use it again. However, I also want to solve the sex drive. So my question is if Pramipexole works despite taking SSRIs?

By the way, I have erection sometimes when I'm dreaming, and morning wood. But more then that 0 libido.

Praxmipexol is not the only thing that works. By serotonin 1A- and 2a-receptor mechanism, Berberine would seem to be the one which works the most. Plus a more individual mix addressing other areas (of hormones, glutamate, erection etc.).

But it would probably interfere, whereas Pramipexole probably wouldn't, since dopamine agonism can be established independently of an SSRI and in many cases a doctor shouldn't have a reason to object, at least in your individual case. Pramipexole should be fine. (But for social anxiety, you could alternatively consider Propanolol, a beta-blocker, which has helped many for this issue.)

I see a lot of problems with your story. I believe you, but I also don't.

How did you take psilocybin every day for 3 months? That's pharmacologically impossible due to the rapid adaption to psychedelics not to mention how anti-habit forming they are. They aren't even pleasant at that level of use.

Additionally, let's break down the cost of that. Assume your dealer is kind and charges you a fair amount for each trip. Maybe you could trip for $20 the first day but in order to fight the insanely high level of adaption you'd need to take higher and higher doses each day in order to trip. Again I'll be kind and assume you spent no more than $50 each day on average. 50*30*3 = $4500 on mushrooms alone. If you really ran out it would assume that you bought them all up front, which would suggest that you bought around 4 grand of psychedelics before you knew how they would impact you at all.

I don't really believe it, honestly. Maybe I'm just showing my bias towards mushrooms but your story seems like a huge stretch and I've never heard anything like it before. You'll have to explain more.

He could have been semi-microdosing.
