Bupropion May have worsened me

I took Bupropion for a week and saw big improvements in erections and libido but discontinued because of the sides. I have been off for 2 weeks and noticed weaker erections and I feel less aroused from porn. Is this even possible? I’m really scared I might have worsened it!!!

I would give your body at least a month to come back to equilibrium after any medication. However, I can tell you that I think taking Buproprion after SSRIs is basically a bad idea. The solution isn’t more drugs. I took it myself and it made me retarded with no benefits. I have to write papers in my profession and it severely impaired my ability to write. It has strong anti-cholinergic properties and I have never met someone that actually liked it. Yet people constantly hold out hope for it because it’s marketed as an AD that doesn’t cause sexual dysfunction. As I say, Ive never met someone who is happy with it at all or that experienced sexual benefits from it.

I took it for a month and it helped with libido and erection majorly. Even for a month after I stopped it.

I crashed with it after 2 weeks with 75mg.

75mg is pretty low and I was on the extended release

Yeah low dose. During those 2 weeks I was extremely productive. But abnormally. Had an urge to move and do something. I wasn't able to sit still. Then crashed. What's left for me are tinnitus, anhedonia and dead penis which cannot respond to erectile meds.

Yeah that’s scary. I didn’t have that, it helped, continued to help for a month after quitting then went back to baseline of not working
