It feels like treatment is somewhere near.

Unread postby fellow1 » Fri Aug 30, 2019 11:47 pm

Hello, without long introduction - I've been recovered by 80-90% for 6 months and then I crashed from dapoxetine. And starting over again. I have only sexual problems and to some extent anhedonia. I really feel that I can recover again, because of the positive responses to some drug and supplements I tried. The question is how to rule out which pathway or system do I need to target precisely. I believe my reaction to the drugs I tried can give some hints where the main problem lies. Maybe you could suggest anything ?

yohimbine - skyrocket my libido but killing my erection semi permanently, perhaps 5ht1a involved ?

Ginkgo biloba - had a temporary window of absolute recovery (around 30 min). Contactless libido and erections were back to normal. wasn't able to replicate this response. My guess, the first time it succeeded because of i Gaba A antagonism or because it increases dopaminergic neuron populations in the PVN and the mesolimbic system

Everything related to NO boosting - citrulline, arginine, maritime bark etc. doesn't do anything for me

After few weeks of histidine intake , something have changed and I am having fantastic response from coffee. Libido skyrocketed to 100%, erection improved.

Cyproheptadine
Had a really strange erection improvements to 120%. And I was a bit shocked. Unfortunately I could not replicate that again.
Apigenin - libido and fantasies were back to 100% temporarily. probably through this mehanism apigenin is able to enhance StAR gene expression and steroid hormone production in mouse Leydig cells by blocking the TBX A2 receptor and reducing the transcriptional repressor DAX-1
Amantadine - no effect
Zinc and copper - occasionally restoring my libido, it's something coincidental
Levetiracetam - generally improves anhedonia significantly, skyrocket motivation and improves libido gradually to the point where I can react to visuals. Improves erection gradually. absolutely no side effects. It's very potent and my response to levetiracetam is somehow extremely positive.
Resveratrol - mixed results, one time it improved erection quality without affecting libido, and other time it crashed me.
Shilajit not much on sexual sides, but improved concentration and energy
MACA increases libido , but seems developing tolerance very quickly, and gains are diminishing.
Schisandra Crashed from it. gaba agonist...
Damiana It gives libido boost and then crash, gaba agonist...
FOrskolin Excellent response and huge improvements
Pramipexole Excellent response, but couldnt tolerate gut problems and diarrhea from it so stopped after 2 pills.

Would anyone have some suggestions maybe? Also i crash HARD from gaba agonists. Thank you!

Not to be rude but why did you take SSRI again when you were 80-90% recovered? Are you crazy?

Not trying to be a dick, but if what you recovered from the first time was PAS and not PSSD you should really clarify that in your post to avoid confusion. PFS PAS and PSSD have similar symptoms but for all we know could be caused by different factors...

I got pas from 1 pill, then 1 month i didn't do anything, and after that i started supplementing hard for about a month, so mainly it was Tongkat ali, dhea and tribulus. Then one night something clicked and i recovered everything within a seconds.

Levetiracetam is a GABAergic anticonvulsant. You seem to benefit the most from enhanced dopamine transmission.

What about Forskolin + Rasagiline? You can take a very low dose Rasagiline: 0.25 mg every other day. This shouldn't trigger gut problems and it doesn't trigger (or at least has a low chance of triggering) dopamine agonist withdrawal syndrome (DAWS).
