Chronic escitalopram treatment induces erectile dysfunction by decreasing nitric oxide bioavailabili

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24242893

Since this is a research from 2013, I think people probably discussed it here, but if not (I did a brief research), what do you think about this nitric oxide theory?

"The inhibitory effects of escitalopram on erectile and vascular function were not accompanied by a change in endothelial nitric oxide synthase, neuronal nitric oxide synthase, inducible nitric oxide synthase expression, or endothelial nitric oxide synthase activity, suggesting that the inhibitory effect is caused by a decrease in nitric oxide bioavailability mediated by increased NADPH oxidase and reactive oxygen species production."

Is it possible to reverse this mechanism? If yes, would we be cured from erectile problems?

NADPH oxidase (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase) is a membrane-bound enzyme complex that faces the extracellular space. It can be found in the plasma membrane as well as in the membranes of phagosomes used by neutrophil white blood cells to engulf microorganisms. Human isoforms of the catalytic component of the complex include NOX1, NOX2, NOX3, NOX4, NOX5, DUOX1, and DUOX2.[1]

I have sexual desire. I have no genital anesthesia to the touch. I have no emotional flattening. I no longer experience sexual arousal and pleasure in the stimulation of the clitoris. I reach orgasm that does not give pleasure anymore. both in the phase of lack of congestion / genital excitation and in the orgasmic phase I have the perception as of "not breathing" of the blood inside my genitals. I do not feel the blood moving and filling them, on the contrary I feel the clitoral zone remain contrite and skimpy ... so I do not have the feelings of "flood" of excitement and blood that is stirring and I do not have the wide orgasmic spasms that bring me pleasure . the orgasm is "dry" and the short pulsations, "do not take the breath". maybe this can indicate a nitric oxide disturbance?
