But if fmri studies could show a difference, it could be the proof that PSSD exists. Then maybe more scientists would support the research.

Healy is posting rubbish, as per usual.

There are mountains of papers implicating 5ht1a.

Meanwhile, I've seen like one study where some dude got his dick lazered and it kinda helped.

He's gonna confuse a lot of people, and derail the PSSD project.

Yes this will attract more scientists.

The people here with pssd know more than Healy. He thinks its peripheral nerve damage. Probably because people say they have numbing in there genitals. Well how thr f@&! does nueropathy have to do with emotions. The few brief moments I had normal emotions my libido.came back. And why does hormone replacement make.me feel better? Too bad it made my hair fallout, now I have to deal with that. I dont even know whats going on anymore. @$!&$ @&_!$@$

"I think his heart is in the right place, I just wish he'd post a bit more positively, and about some of the effective treatments that we have found here."

Most people here haven't found any effective treatment.

I never said anything about percentages of people it helped. A lot of people have had success with Inositol, Zinc, Choline, Curcumin. It's not a majority, but they are very effective for some people.

Healy is going to make people kill themselves if they haven't heard of these options. PSSD is a very dark place, but there are places that you can look for relief. It's a game of trial and error. It's not a death sentence, and I'll personally give him 100 bucks if his ion channel theory pans out. I think he's looking in the wrong place although his motives are mostly good. He's a smart guy.

Sorry if I was too negative, it's just that in my case nothing has seemed to help so far.

I agree with Ghost. He's not doing much, seems to be a quack, and is doing it for financial gain. I did more for longer, and I did it for free. He did nothing but take advantage of my kindness to promote his quackery. I never got so much as a thank you either.
