Response to visual stimuly

I think it's important to know which is the erection response of people here when they watch porn.
Everyone have no response to visual stimuly?

It's hard to select just one, because I have all #2, #3, #4
I would have chosen #5 If I didn't take ssri
2016 march~april
Strattera+Vortioxetine for 3weeks
2016 may~june
Escitalopram for 2weeks (PSSD)

Re: Response to visual stimuly

There is another category!

Full erection only with manual stimulation plus erotic image/fantasy...takes longer to achieve than before...absolutely no response to visual stimulation.

It would appear there are many variations to this simple question.

I think it is so difficult to appreciate someone else's problems when there is such a wide variation.

My first run in with PSSD in 1998, which has persisted to this day, involved total loss of erection due to visual stimuli, but manual stimulation would work 99.9% of the time... seeing an erotic image still gave me the urge/desire to have sex. After a few years like this I accepted the condition as "normal" and had quite a good, if sporadic sex life.

My second and concurrent experience of PSSD which started in December 2016 after 3 x 50mg Sertraline left me with no libido, absolutely no urge/desire to have sex when seeing an erotic image/fantasy. However manual stimulation plus erotic image/fantasy, brings back the libido.

Am I in group on my own?!!

I've been pretty down this year due to the above so haven't attempted to initiate sex or a relationship...maybe this would help.

I try to visualise a Venn diagram to make sense of what has gone wrong and where, but without the scientific knowledge I'm stuck for an answer...I'd love to delve into books/internet to find out more, but my brain fog hampers me badly.

21g
Male
PSSD after 3 days on Sertraline (50mg) (Aurobindo) December 2016 to date.
Tinnitus, insomnia (1.5 hours/night sleep) poor memory/cognition as a bonus!
Possibly PSSD from October 1998...just didn't realise what I was suffering from! (pre internet)

I have a mix od PSSD and years of excessive internet porn abuse so I can have erection to watching porn, of course with assistance of my dear hand. First I need to reset my wiring and abstain from internet porn for a couple of months (didn't try that yet) so that I can see if I really have PSSD in a first place.
Cipralex (escitalopram) from september 2012 to september 2013. Forgot exact dosage. PSSD improving since taking 20g MSM powder per day, no porn and regular heavy lifting fitness routine. Stay strong!

I'm in the category of: physical stimulation plus erotic images or situations causes me to get an erection. But the erection seems oddly disconnected to the experience. Almost like a relex instead of being caused by sex.

I think it is important to resume this survey because this problem with visual stimulation is almost the only thing (together with the low sensitivity in the genitals) that differentiates us from other supposed problems such as PIED, performance anxiety ...
I would like more people answering this please.

I'm #2 on my absolute worst days, have had months being #3, nowadays I'm mostly #4, last Summer I had even had a good few months with #5. In all cases it's exactly like fasttrack describes, the erection seems totally disconnected to my actual experience.
PSSD Since March 2016 after 4 weeks on Sertraline
Conditioned worsened and peaked in April, since then possibly seen a 20% improvement
Would be useful for data collection if people could add their histories in their signature

hello i'm a woman and before ssri I sometimes used to search porn.
now I prefer imagination because I feel fear and cry if I don't have a reaction to visual stimuli so I avoid to see porn the majority of times.
I would like to ask you if you feel the same of me about urge/excitation:
do you feel like me that initially excitment is without pleasure because of the genital anesthesia and after continuing stimulation the pleasure rise? I think it could be a sort of delayed reaction...what about you?
Don't take candy from strangers

escitalopram drops 20 mg from 28 august - 6 september 2017
2 drops the first day increasing gradually until 6 the last day (cold turkey)
